He spent his early life in Spring Prairie and after his marriage he lived in Burlington, Wisconsin. He retired from the Burlington Brass Works. He was a member of Cross Lutheran Church and a former member of the Town of Burlington Volunteer Fire Department. Alvin and Evelyn were married in Cross Lutheran Church in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Evelyn: She was the first woman school bus driver in Burlington, Wisconsin and was a member of Cross Lutheran Church. She died at the Mt. Carmel Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Burlington. Funeral services were held in Cross Lutheran Church.

Church, Burlington, WI., buried in Burlington Cemetery, Burlington, Racine County, Wisconsin. She suffered internal injuries and had both of her legs broken in an accident. She and her brother, Robert, were walking to school and a snow squall hit. A car did not see them and hit both of them. Her brother died in this accident. This happened on December 20, 1928.

Lawrence: He was raised and educated in Lawrence, Kansas. After his marriage he lived in Burlington, Wisconsin. He was a supervisor at the Burlington Brass Works and a member of Cross Lutheran Church. He served in the United States Navy in World War II and was a member of the Anderson Murphy V.F.W. Post in Burlington, Wisconsin. He died of emphysema.

After their marriage they lived in Brighton, Union Grove and then Wheatland. They moved to Burlington about 1942. They attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in New Munster, Wisconsin.

In his early years he helped out on the family farm in Spring Prairie. In 1946 he was hired at Burlington Mills and worked there to 1967. He then had a few odd jobs and retired in 1987 from LaVelle Industries. He also had worked for Quality Carriers. He and Margaret are members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington, Wisconsin.

He married 16-Sep-1950 in New Munster, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, Margaret Mary Frey, born 18-Dec-1928 in Burlington, Racine County, Wisconsin, (daughter of Joseph Frey and Loretta Robers).

She and her family were members of Cross Lutheran Church in Burlington. Ruth and her husband were killed on Thanksgiving Day when their auto was hit by another on a curve on Highway 43 about three miles northwest of Kenosha. Also killed in the crash was Joseph's mother. The driver of the other car was driving with out a license and all evidence showed that he was in the wrong lane and may have been drinking.

Lorenz: He was a milkman for forty years. He bought, sold and worked on farms. He was in the real estate business. Larry served in the United States Army Signal Corps from 1952 to 1954, and was based in Germany.
